DOUBLE E. CORP AND RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

DOUBLE E. CORP.
Double E. Corp is eighth graders who are discovering the small business aspect of the world of work. They become aware of their own personal abilities, job expectations, and satisfactions of being an entrepreneur. The charity group that Double E. Corp supports is The Ronald McDonald House of Albany. This year's Double E. Corp members hope to make this 20th annual donation that will make the donations for Ronald McDonald House exceed the $14,000 mark.

RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE
Ronald McDonald House is "a home away from home" for families of seriously ill or injured children while familes travel to Albany seeking medical treatment. Ronald McDonald House of Albany offers a warm welcome to over 400 families. Each year "The House" annually serves children and families from over 35 New York counties, a dozen different states and a handful of international countries. Each night, up to 16 families find sanctuary there, with an average length of stay of seven days. No one is ever turned away due to the inability to pay. If a family wishes to give a donation, families who are already burdened with overwhelming expenses are asked to pay only $10. Since opening in 1982, the House has served more than 11,000 families around the world.

DOUBLE E CORP COLLECTED
20 BAGS OF ITEMS

During the month of November, the members of Double E. Corp collected 12 bags of items for the Ronald McDonald House Wish List. Students collected items like toothbrushes, small-sized toiletries, individually wrapped snack foods, and other necessities that "The House That Love Built" needs.

NCS HIGH SCHOOL MUSIC STUDENTS
AND THE NCS DRAMA CLUB

RAISE MONEY FOR RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE

NCS High School Music students and the NCS Drama Club had a raffle at the holiday concert to raise money for the Caroling With Kids Program for the Ronald McDonald House of Albany. Local business owner Wendy Hotaling from the North Country Florist donated a beautiful boxwood tree to raffle off.

This is the seventh year that the students of NCS who have been involved in the music program and the drama club have raised money for the Ronald McDonald House. In the past they have caroled throughout the villiage of Northville and in conjunction with Applebees in Johnstown they raised money for the Caroling With Kids Program while singing to people who were dining out.

Northville students raised $137.85 through the generous donations of the people in this community. Without all of the community support of the arts and your continous generosity we would never would have been able to help this worthy cause.

Thank you!
